Ashley was born in Kinston, North Carolina, on February 1, 1988.
Ashley graduated Magna Cum Laude from N.C. State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She graduated Cum Laude from Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2013. While in law school, Ashley interned at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Federal Public Defender's Office, and the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission. She also worked as a summer associate at White & Allen during the summers of 2011 and 2012. Ashley competed in and was a semi-finalist in the 2011 Richard A. Lord Intramural Moot Court Competition, and also received the award for Best Appellate Brief in the competition. Upon graduating, Ashley received book awards in Insurance Law and Family Law Planning.
Ashley is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina State Bar. She is currently the 8th District Bar President and serves on the Kinston Community Health Center Board. In 2018, Ashley was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star. Stucker is licensed to practice before all North Carolina State Courts and the United States District Court—Eastern District of North Carolina. Ashley's practice is concentrated in litigation with an emphasis on criminal and domestic.
Ashley is an active volunteer in the "Little by Little" reading program at Northwest Elementary School. She also serves as a board member for the Lenoir-Greene United Way. Away from her practice, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends and spending time at the beach.
